Our Krav Maga classes are designed so that in every class you learn practical skills that can be put to effect immediately. Your first class is no exception.
Lesson Plan:
Arrival - Welcome to your first class at KMDI, Sydney's premier Krav Maga gym. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to meet our friendly team, get acquainted with the space, and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
Warmup - We kick off with a dynamic warm-up, designed to get your body moving and your mind focused. This isn't just about physical readiness; it's about preparing mentally for the training ahead. You'll feel your energy levels rise and any pre-class jitters melt away.
Combatives - It's time to put on the boxing gloves and dive into striking combinations. If you don't have your own gloves, don't worry! We have gloves available for hire, and your first class is on us. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the basics, ensuring you understand the mechanics and purpose of each strike.
Self Defence Techniques - You'll partner up with a fellow student to practice these techniques in a safe, supportive environment. Our community is here to learn and grow together, so you'll find that everyone is eager to help and encourage each other.
Simulation Training - The class culminates in drills that integrate the techniques you've learned during the session. This is where you'll get to apply your new skills in a more fluid, dynamic context. It's challenging, fun, and incredibly rewarding.*
